National Baseball Hall of Fame Classic Weekend collection
Scope and Contents
A collection of materials relating to the annual National Baseball Hall of Fame Classic Weekend. This includes lineup cards, boxscores, scorecards, rosters, and programs. Some years include game tickets, other events such as the golf tournament, night at the museum/ballpark, and the BASE race. Some years have advertising postcards and press releases.

Biographical / Historical
The annual Hall of Fame game, which took place induction weekend, was cancelled by Major League Baseball with the new ruling on exhibition games by Major League teams. The last game was played in 2008. Starting in 2009, the annual Hall of Fame Classic began. Returning Hall of Famers make up the managing and coaching staff and 30 returning retired players, representing each of the 30 Major League teams, are split into two teams. The games started being played around Father's Day but were moved to Memorial Day saturday starting in 2013. Other events make up the weekend such as a Kids' Clinic, Night at the Museum, and a golf tournament.
