Subseries Description

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries consists of some of the earliest records of the Cincinnati Reds regarding the sale of the Kentucky-based group, headed by John T. Brush, to the Cincinnati Exhibition Company, headed by Herrmann. There is also correspondence from team officials (including Herrmann) about player salaries, a 1911 recounting of the club purchase, and a position-by-position analysis of the Reds in 1927.
