Scope and Contents
A collection of newspaper clippings from various sources such as The Sporting News, the New York Clipper, Chicago Tribune, and Sporting Life. Newspaper articles from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Australia, Egypt, Italy and France. Many articles were used, including those written by Cap Anson, A.G. Spalding, Harry Clay Palmer, and Francis C. Richter. Photocopies of potential photographs, publishing contracts and correspondence are part of this collection.
