A collection of research files created and/or compiled by Dr. Lawrence Hogan in the writing of his book "So Many Seasons in the Sun". Also included are interviews on 30 cassettes, 2 DVDs, 4 mini-audiodiscs, 7 compact discs, and 1 VHS.

The collection documents some of the history of the game in New York City during the years between 1947 and 1957 as told in the documentary "The Golden Decade of Baseball" as well as through the eyes of Hall of Fame broadcasters. The original video field tapes and audio cassettes from the interviews conducted for those documentaries make up this entire collection.
